Summary: Boston Golf Club is located in Hingham, Massachusetts and is about 35 minutes south of Boston in a town called Hingham. It is considered one of the best golf courses in Massachusetts. Boston Golf Club was designed by Gil Hanse, and opened in 2005. Many have compared it to a decent course in New Jersey called Pine Valley. I've never played Pine Valley, but Boston Golf Club was one of the nicest courses that I've played on the east coast. I had the chance to play with the head pro, Boomer Erick, who was a treat to play with. He gave a lot of interesting insights into the golf course. One of the interesting things he told me was that Gil Hanse, for the most part, used the existing terrain and didn't have to move a ton of dirt. Boston Golf Club is ranked #75 according to Golf Digest's Greatest Golf Courses. Notable members include Brad Faxon, ABC/ESPN sportscaster Sean McDonough, and Seth Waugh, former CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas.
