Summary: Oak Hill Country Club is located in Rochester, New York and was designed by Donald Ross in 1925. The course is a par 70 and plays 7,145 yards from the back tees. The east course has hosted the Ryder Cup once, three U.S. Open's, three PGA Championships, one U.S. Senior Open, one Senior PGA Championship, and two U.S. Amateur's. Oak Hill definitely played like a major championship golf course. The course is tough from the back tees, but is immaculately conditioned. The greens rolled perfectly on the day I played. Oak Hill Country Club East is ranked #16 according to Golf Digest's Greatest Golf Courses. Oak Hill was one of the best groomed course that I have played to date. Not the most exciting course, but very good nonetheless.
