Summary: Promontory has two beautiful golf courses located in Park City, Utah: The Dye Canyon Course and the Nicklaus Painted Valley Course. Both are private, but I've heard that the Dye Canyon Course allows a few guest tee-times each day. It's worth a call to the pro-shop. The Dye Canyon Course does not disappoint. As you can see in the pictures, there are very few holes that don't have dramatic elevation changes. The elevation changes makes for an enjoyable round, but make sure and play the correct set of tees (Gold tees total yardage is 7,690 yards). We played the blue tees which is 6,587 yards and it made for a very enjoyable day. If you don't have fun playing Promontory Dye Canyon, it's your own fault because this course has all of the elements that make it a great round of golf that won't be soon forgotten.
